With the advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, Financial Services Providers (FSPs), just as all other businesses, are going through a period of uncertainties. While uncertainties are not new to the financial sector, the scale and inability to estimate an end to the COVID-19 pandemic place FSPs in operational difficulties that require constant monitoring and response. One critical strategy is to carry out financial stress testing on a continuous basis to enable FSPs determine the state of readiness to deal with financial distress.
This course has been designed to help FSPs identify sources of business and financial stress, adopt, and apply financial stress testing tool and to support the design pf strategies for conducting and using results from financial stress testing to improve FSPs performance.
